This is the first stage sculpture of a Batman statue I'm working on. The idea behind this piece is to show my version of The Batman. I envisioned a cross between The Batman of Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns" and the portrayal of Batman by Michael Keaton in the Tim Burton FIlm "Batman".
